Sunil Kumar elected as TAAI President for the 2024-2026 term
Sunil Kumar has been elected as the President of the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) for the 2024–2026 term, following two previous terms from 2015 to 2019. The announcement was made today after the election took place at ITC Grand Maratha in Mumbai during TAAI’s 73rd Annual General Meeting.
The presidential election saw competition from outgoing President Jyoti Mayal, who led the association for the past five years, and Harmandeep Singh Anand. Sunil Kumar received 304 votes, while Jyoti Mayal garnered 177 votes and Harmandeep Singh Anand received 286 votes.
Kumar’s leadership team includes Lokesh Bettiah, who was appointed Vice President with 417 votes, Shreeram Patel as Honorary Secretary General with 344 votes, and Paras Lakhia as Honorary Treasurer. The Managing Committee for the 2024–2026 term features Gopal Unadkt, Manav Soni, Amish Desai, Lalit Kumar Jain, Hema Chander, Sameer Karnani, and Rajan Sehgal.
