Jaypee Greens Golf Course, Greater Noida bags National Tourism Award for Best Tourism Friendly Golf Course 2015-16

Jaypee Hotels and Resorts celebrate new recognition in support of their continuing commitment to National Tourism. Recently, at the National Tourism Awards, Jaypee Greens Golf Course, Greater Noida, National Capital Region received the “Best Tourism Friendly Golf Course 2015-16“recognition for the third time.  This glittering event featured the crème de la crème of the Tourism industry at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The awards were presented by the H’ble President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind & H’ble Minister of State for Tourism (Independent Charge) & Minister of state for Electronics & Information Technology, K.L. Alphons.

The event witnessed the glorious presence of Tourism Ministers of States, Central and State Government Officials, Representatives from Diplomatic Missions, Members from the Travel and Hospitality Industries, including leading Hoteliers, Travel Agents and Tour Operators, Travel Media and the Mainstream Media. The Award event also included Launch of the Incredible India 2.0 Campaign, Launch of ‘Adopt A Heritage’ Project; and Design Launch of Incredible India Website.

These awards are given since the early 1990s and are presented to State Governments / Union Territories, classified hotels, heritage hotels, approved travel agents, tour operators and tourist transport operators, individuals and other private organizations in recognition of their performance in their respective fields and also to encourage healthy competition with an aim to promote tourism.
