FITUR (International Tourism Trade Fair)

January 17-21, 2018 Location: Madrid, Spain

1The international tourism trade fair, FITUR, annually takes place in the Ifema trade fair centre of Madrid. It has become one of the biggest tourism fairs worldwide and the no. 1 on the Iberian Peninsula. In so-called national pavilions, the particularities of the regions are presented to the visitors of the fair, mainly consisting of decision-makers in the tourism industry, such as travel agencies and tourism associations. The fair is also considered the most important gateway to the Latin American market. On the whole, the event serves as a global communication platform in order to develop future strategies taking into account the changes in consumer demand and thus generally to promote the tourism business.

OTM Mumbai

January 18-20, 2018 Location: Mumbai, India

3OTM is the gateway to India’s largest travel markets. It is the largest and most international gathering of travel trade buyers and professionals in India. Here, you can meet face-to-face at OTM and build long-term business relations. It has the largest exhibiting space and the highest number of participants in any travel show in India. Mumbai is the largest travel market in the country, generating one-third (33%) of all India-outbound travellers. It is scheduled to open at Bombay Exhibition and Convention Centre. Over 1300 exhibitors from 60 countries showcased at OTM 2017. Over 14,000 trade visitors including 4000 qualified buyers, 445 travel trade buyers and 129 corporate buyers of business and MICE travel attended last year.
