MGTO conducted FAM trip for top travel agents from India
Macao Government Tourism Office recently conducted a familiarization (FAM) trip for top travel agents from India like MakeMyTrip, Flight Shop, Yorker Travels, Leaf India Holiday, Aeronet Travels, Travel Tours, Mercury Travels, Kesari Travels, Vacation Exotica, Shri Krishna Tours and Classic Holidays. The idea was to showcase to the agents the uncommon aspects of Macao such as its new and grand properties, variety of world class entertainment like – “Viva La Broadway show” at Galaxy Hotel, Macao’s pulsating nightlife, family fun activities and taste of different cuisines (Macanese and Portuguese).
The trip was not only informative but also very entertaining. 11 agents along with an MGTO representative reached Macao on 5th April for a 4 night educational holiday. An approximate 5 hour journey to Hong Kong and then a 60 minute ferry brought everyone to Macao – the city of duality, a beautiful blend of Portuguese and Chinese cultures.
After checking-in at one of the most fabulous properties, the group got to experience the cuisine, the city and activities for the next few days like never before. Latest attractions, events, shows and activities for the family segment have increased the demand for Macao as a holiday suited for everyone. Shows like ‘The House of Dancing Water at City of Dreams’, ‘The Magic Show at Studio City’ and attractions like The Panda Pavilion, Science Center, Grand Prix Museum and Macao Tower are appealing places that every Indian tourist would like to enjoy and experience.
